The result is a fun game that seems to have stuck an excellent balance between realism and playability.
The latest installment in the series, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, has done away with most of the tactical elements but replaced them with updated graphics and exciting action. Those of us growing a little long in the tooth may recall with fondness the original Rainbow Six and its emphasis on tactics and strategy.
